Mokum have chosen to work with Applaud Solutions to provide Mokum’s many HR customers with the products ‘Self Service Organization Chart’ and ‘Absence Calendar’.

Absence Calendar: quickly see who in your team is off and when

It’s a task that all managers have to perform: ensure that they have enough cover in the team when approving leave or training requests, particularly around the holiday seasons such as Christmas and Easter.

People like a visual guide. Even with information in Oracle Self Service at their fingertips, you will see colour coded wall planners, locally maintained spreadsheets and Outlook calendars all used as ways of keeping track of who’s in the office on any given day.

The new Self Service Holiday Planner replaces all offline management at a stroke by providing a visual guide of availability sourced directly from absence and training data held in Oracle.

If you see that people are not at work, you’ll want to know what they are doing. The Holiday Planner has colour coding to allow you to quickly spot who is on holiday, who is off sick, who is on training and more. For more detail, pop-up text is available by simply rolling your cursor over any given day. View which training course someone is attending or what their absence details are without having to come out of the screen or run any reports.

  - Modify the colour scheme to support your needs: configure your own colours for each type of absence
  - No reports to run; displays instantaneously in Oracle Self Service
