Spanning three days (Monday to Wednesday) and featuring a comprehensive 15 stream agenda boasting over 250 presentations, the UKOUG Conference is the largest UK event for the Oracle Technology and E-Business Suite user communities and attracts over 1500 attendees from the UK and internationally. Over the last 19 years – thanks to a consistently cutting-edge agenda, captivating speakers and an exhibition hall packed with Oracle partners – it has become a must-attend event for anyone with a professional interest in Oracle’s products and applications.
2011’s conference promises to be the most informative, innovative and unmissable yet.
Mokum are giving three sessions this year:
Tuesday 17:50 – 18:35 Defer the Headache
Adam Pitt-Stanley – Mokum Change Management Ltd
A presentation on deferred accounting for the Accounts Payable module in Oracle E-Business R12. Historically in 11i this could only be achieved with recurring journals and reversing journals in GL. Deferred accounting across periods can now be achieved with standard R12. In this presentation we will show you how.
Wednesday 10:10 – 10:55 Providing Better Quality Service to Employee’s – utilising a CRM Helpdesk
Graham Oliver – Mokum Change Management Ltd
Co-presenter(s): Rupesh Chotai – Mokum
One of the new features of Oracle Release 12, is the ability to create an integrated Employee help desk in CRM. This presentation will explore and demonstrate what can be achieved in order to truly create two way integration.
It will also show how a feature rich CRM system can improve customer service to non desk bound Employee’s. By not using Zoom functionality, Contact Center agents do not have to learn Oracle HR screens – and reporting from the solution is uniform and simplified.
Time spent on the phone for both agents and Employee’s is reduced – making a more efficient system.
Wednesday 16:15 – 17:00 Implementing Direct Debits in R12
Chris Mason – Mokum Change Management Ltd
To enable clients to set up and collect AUDDIS-compliant direct debit payments from their customers, Mokum Change Management Limited (MOKUM) proposed, designed and built a solution in Oracle E-Business Suite Receivables (release 12.1.3). This presentation describes the design and implementation of the AUDDIS-compliant Direct Debits Solution using extensions to existing Oracle functionality that is non invasive by Mokum. Some technical detail (customised remittance formats, bank/account modulus checking) will also be provided.
